3 stages in the Pyrenees, and 3 inconsequential stage winners. The Parcours is again, just like last year, a terrible arrangement. The only drama coming from a broken chain: how ridiculous! For me it has been a lot of racing for very little action. You have to look really deep to find some exciting news and then find Thor getting the green was it.
Let's have somebody else design this race next year.

as some have said, its largely down to the fact that riders are too scared to try risks in the tour since its so important.

The solutions are

1 bonus seconds.
2 big prize for combativity
3 more than 1 hc mtf.
