I hate the f55%ing double standards in cycling " UCI etc" Horner never really given a chance to race again in health. We seemed to have missed that window by all accounts.
Its like we never got to see Landis ride again. Fu%% yeah he doped but so did others and they got back.
Ulrich as well and Chicken never got back. These are the sort of riders that make cycling exciting and yet we end up with riders Like Millar back in the peloton puking out their self righteous kak like a shady car salesmen.
The Fu%%ing UCI can stick their rules up their ar$$.
I would have given Horner a chance to defend his GT win no matter. I want to see excitement.
I want Ricco back as well.
Fu55ING do gooders can kiss my ar%%

While the reasons with Horner are partially his own health fault, I have to 100% agree with those like Ulrich, Rasmussen and Landis.

Hell yeah, I want Lance to fry in hell and banned for life just because what he did to Landis when he was trying to come back from the ban. And same hell frying to all those corrupted UCI FU%KERS that are running these double standards and those unofficial black lists.

I truly hope that one day, the best teams will create their own "league" and leave UCI and ASO behind.

Bit like the Kerry Packer Cricket Circus, sounds good although they'll have to adopt new races as the one's to go for, maybe the Tour of Britain might be interested, the sprint finish on Llandudno prom is crying out for more exposure!

He was 6th yesterday atop an unamed pass near Spring Mountain, behind a horde of Colombians, and Canadians G. Boivin and Michael Woods.

No easy task.

I think it's all over for Horner. He has a sh%% load of health issues. Bad luck.

That is when he is at his best, as we witnessed 2013 at La Vuelta, and in last years TdF.

So don´t count him out. The more battered, the better for him.

While I wish it wasnt so, I have to agree. Seems like he is about done and while he may keep pedaling around for the rest of the season we should not expect any crazy results from the old man.

His team was not invited to California and Utah so Colorado, Nationals and Alberta are his only options to gain a spot on the US team for the WC and win the rainbow jersey before the retirement.

horner was 4th of the favorites only behind montiel who was and is a level above all these riders. horner is back since a long time and didn't even expect to crack the top 5. and towards all other favorites, save montiel, lost no time

He's had a good innings, did he nt have some trouble moving to Europe when he was younger which undermined hs career? I think I remember hearing all this US crap about food etc. I've been in the States for a while and there is a fast food joint every street, what is this special cleans food they eat, I;ve yet to witness it.

There's also organic markets in most areas, maybe that's the 'special cleans' food you're referring to? Whole Foods is a really popular organic market in the PNW. It might even be nationwide idk..

Cool to have him in Colombia but still would have rather have him in Utah at that time, shame the team didnt get invited there now no one can challenge Tommie D.

Airgas-Safeway have said they have been invited but are waiting on the result of applications for wildcards to Utah and USA Pro cycling challenge before confirming their participation.

I want Airgas-Safeway in Utah and just like in 2014 they should also invite Funvic, Dani Diaz vs Tommy D vs Horner would be awesome.

Diaz was obviously a beast in San Luis but he was very weak in the rest of the season so far. Still I would also love to see Funvic get an invite they have some more exciting riders :). When will the last wildcards for utah be announced?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that those other races that he races durning the rest of the season didn't feature mountain stages, as far as I know the Vuelta Ciclista del Uruguay and the Volta Ciclistica internacional do Paraná aren't exactly known for their mountain stages, Urugay is mostly know for sprints and crosswinds.
