They had a crap Tour de France and Ardennes campaign, the rest of the season was pretty good. The crap Tour was purely down to bad luck. But they were criticized in the Dutch media for peaking too early, which is nonsense if you look at their Roubaix and Flanders results, for instance. Unfortunately they've taken that criticism to heart, with the result that they now suck pretty much everywhere.

their trainer delahaye is a total idiot. and the team deserves everything it gets for not firing the other imbeciles like maassen, breukink etc. so many years of failing any company or sportsteam would fire those reponsible when clealry there is no improvement found. but not rabobank. they are an example about everything that is wrong with corporate netherlands.

Lol. Indeed. Deep down we're all chauvinists to a certain degree though. Quite normal me thinks. It is when you go above and beyond the casual cheer that the problem lies. Bavarianrider is a consummate chauvinist and a bag of chips.

oh ok my bad... But they were still called the rabobus in 2011. The problem is their good riders are not really doing well. A bit like BMC, but BMC has backup riders.

hahahahaha. good one.

They had a great start of the season last year, but after that they were crap as well.

it wasn't that bad. 4th at vuelta, a few podiums at the one day races (canada, css etc) tob etc. overall a decent season, but failing hard at Tour, which is thier priority lol.

You were being sarcastic?
Well they could not really do anything with gesink's crash, but they did make up for it somewhat with a stage win.

meh people are allowed to support who ever they want, for whatever reasons. You not being chauvinist makes you no better.

the fanboys and over the top fans are needed also, to put the good posters in perspective ;)

Obviously my tolerance of chauvinist crap is lower than most people's. Anyway, I disagree with the notion that we're all chauvinists. I manage to ignore nationality just fine, and many other forumers do the same.

Yeah you are right! and there is nothing wrong at all with being nationalistic and supporting riders from your country. ITS TOTALLY NATURAL. like what the hell of course if you are dutch you will support holland in world cup and so on....

Lol. True that Timmy. They do tend to be a frustrating bunch though. Also I have learned to steer clear of fanboys. The saying ''never argue with idiots, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience'' comes to mind whenever I get tempted to react nowadays.

Fair enough. I did say deep down though, not conspicuously. Furthermore, other forumers might say a lot of things...

Not really, considering I'm a fan of Contador ;)

perhaps to you, as you only seem to be a fan when the rider is Dutch or rides for a Dutch team. :p

Keep on trolling, shows me how much you're enjoying this beautiful season so far :p
