Race categories - what is "1.1 WE"?

The old website had a link to this useful page explaining the UCI race codes such as the "2.HC" which appears after the Skoda-Tour de Luxembourg on the current home page.

I can't find this information on the new site.

On the current home page there is:

Liberty Classic June 6, 2010, USA Road - 1.1 WE

What is the "WE"? Weekend?

Offhand, I would say Women Elite.

Oh yes, thanks Susan. Might have guessed that if I'd actually followed the link and seen that it was a womens event.

Looks like the UCI code has changed since that web page was written and women's events had a "9" in them (which was a bit patronising).
