Ha ha, it can be, especially during the road season. However, if you're on Twitter, I'd give Cyclocross24 & Cyclocross Social a follow; they tend to report any news.

Will be interesting to see what happens with Hermans, who contract runs out at the end of the year. And what CX team will Kay & Riberolle ride for? The riders of Plantur-Pura ride Canyon & Stevens bikes, depending on which CX team they ride for. Both Kay & Riberolle have been riding Canyon bikes from what I can see. Will they be Alpecin riders?

Although this could go in the MTB section; looking at the entry lists for Albstadt, there are a large number of CX riders taking part this weekend in all categories.
Three current World Champions: Pidcock, Pieterse, Christian. Former World Champions: Ronhaar, Van Empel, Iserbyt. I haven't included PF-P or Richards as I count them as MTB-ers. And there are others, including Haverdings, Soete, etc

Great to see more trying MTB.

Hi guys. I am looking to subscribe somewhere to watch as much CX as possible in the new season. Can somebody recommend the best way to go about it? I am useless with technology so if somebody can puppy walk me through the basics I would be grateful. I am in England so at the moment am using the VPN to watch stuff on Tiz but much of it is a bit tedious with very little in the way of graphics and info on all but the top 3 or 4. As before any help is very welcome. PS When are the first CX races anywhere?

And after all the fuss, Tormans will stay with Intermarché until the end of 2025 and will not join Quick Step.

The only problem is that the fuss made Hermans leave (and Van Kessel too?), plus their big guns for the future, Wyseure and Verstrynge.

And Zoe Backstedt, who was also part of the structure, is now part of the Cannondale/Honsinger/Vaughters structure.

Thomas Mein has also left I think. He put something up about joining Hope Factory Racing a month or so ago, so I guess he'll be back racing for them over the cross season.

Also Alpecin use a the Inflite from Canyon whereas Quickstep would use the Crux from Specialized. While it is a few years old now, the Inflite is an out and out cx bike (maybe it was criticised for the funny looking top tube thing at the start) whereas the Crux released last year is a CX bike for gravel racing. Without analysing a geometry chart or having ridden those two bikes or the Cube they were riding, I'd say having a bike that isn't specifically built for cx and can do another discipline that tends to be multiple hours as opposed to a one hour smash fest isn't as ideal.

It seems it's not as surprising as it seems. Wanty-Intermarche weren't that bothered about the CX side of the team.
As Van Kessel & Hermans have ridden on the road for Wanty, will be interesting to see what they do. Mein rides on the road for Canyon-Sungod in the UK.
One assumes Zoe has got plenty of interest from teams for when she's allowed to sign for a pro team - seeing as she enjoys, and wants to continue CX I can think of a team which might suit.

Yes, you're right, because 28-year-old Corne Van Kessel currently ranks eighth in the UCI individual world rankings. Last winter, the Dutch rider finished in the top five in World Cup races five times and won a bronze medal at the Dutch Championship. On the road, he finished 3rd at IWT Oetingen and 4th at Heistse Pijl in 2017. This year he finished 11th at the Dwars Door Het Hageland.

So apparently Laurens Sweeck will join the Roodhooft's structure and ride for Crelan next season/next year.

Team will consist of Sweeck, van Kessel, Wyseure, Verstrynge, Cant and Norbert Riberolle, at least. Hermans was supposed to be the leader but will join Alpecin - Deceuninck proper.

Quite a bit of news in recent days; rumours that Trek won't renew both Aerts brothers contracts, and they might be off to Wanty-Intermarche. Van der Haar, Nys & Ronhaar are their only topline riders though Haverdings is part of the AA Drink team I think.
