Nice sprint by Gery to take bronze, and her ponytail is impressive as well.

It's always the front wheel over the line first that counts, right? Otherwise I could see a tactic of growing a really long ponytail, and then make it go "Weee" over your head in the sprint.

I swear! I'm not on any of greg's tea.

Without the flat, does Molengraaf win that race? Probably, but not definitely.

I'm not complaining, of course. Already a successful worlds for Canada.

I'm always surprised by how many of the women wear long ponytails. I've never worn one myself (despite the threats of my headmaster to make me do so when I was a scruffy-maned teen in the 70s) but I would imagine that swinging back and forth all the time would be really irritating.

Indeed, the barriers could be a decisive point tomorrow if Wout and Mathieu arrive there together on the last lap (look at Puck taking the lead there). There's not much space to take over afterwards. However the finishing "straight" is quite long and uphill but also it's not straight in fact but with slight bends, so could be tricky to move up if starting sprint from 2nd position.
