So much negative racing, but on a cross course like this it’s entertaining.

The majority of other races in which Van der Poel did not participate were great as well.

There were 25.000 people today, which could have been even more if local authorities didn't have to set a maximum.

Diegem never disappoints. Solid hour of great racing...and the Strohmeyer flier on the front on lap 1 was fun to see...he blew up, but that guy is feisty

Yeah, was great to see a new jersey at the front of the race, if only for a third of a lap…

Do we know yet what happened to Vanthourenhout? I’m guessing he crashed on the off-camber ruts, as we didn’t see that section on the footage and suddenly Sweeck had a big gap with MV nowhere to be seen…

Also, Foldager 18th in the women's race. Not bad for a 17-year-old.

Third shoe problem this season I believe.
Needs to try good old fashioned velcro shoes.
Or bend his shoe sponsors ear.
Or wrap gaffer tape around them.
Or stop getting into situations that fu his shoes.

He is far from the only one to have to change shoes in the pit this year. If the shoe sponsor wants to sell the high end shoe with the BOA fasteners then the rider will ride the high end shoe with the BOA fasteners no matter how many snap off in crashes or just tangling with the course barriers.

Shoes, saddles & helmets should all be personal choice.......
Can you imagine a top footballer having to wear boots not of his choice.

no Zoe either, infact is everyone else on the race still riding, those top 3 were so far ahead

Tempted to say that's an impressive result for Wolff and Carrier, but this is a pretty weak field outside of the top 3.

feels disappointing in a way based on how well Wolff did in the other races, Carrier I think did well, but we have no idea what issues either had as rightly I guess coverage focussed on the top3 and everyone else was in a completely different race, you only needed to catch one of those deep ruts and face plant surf like Bakker did and you'd be out of it.
