The majority of other races in which Van der Poel did not participate were great as well.So much negative racing, but on a cross course like this it’s entertaining.

Better racing to be sure. Undoubtedly less profitable for the promoters. The majority of other races in which Van der Poel did not participate were great as well.
There were 25.000 people today, which could have been even more if local authorities didn't have to set a maximum.Better racing to be sure. Undoubtedly less profitable for the promoters.
Third shoe problem this season I believe.Vanthourenhout having problems with his shoes.
Again...
Also, Foldager 18th in the women's race. Not bad for a 17-year-old.
He is far from the only one to have to change shoes in the pit this year. If the shoe sponsor wants to sell the high end shoe with the BOA fasteners then the rider will ride the high end shoe with the BOA fasteners no matter how many snap off in crashes or just tangling with the course barriers.Third shoe problem this season I believe.
Needs to try good old fashioned velcro shoes.
Or bend his shoe sponsors ear.
Or wrap gaffer tape around them.
Or stop getting into situations that fu his shoes.
Could this be why he was running the barriers in Bensacon on Sunday? No MvdP; seems like he injured his ribs in Loenhout last Friday, and is feeling the effects.
Eurosport?Unfortunately, the doofs at MAX have forgotten to put the race on the schedule...
Many here will be happy about this. Not me.No MvdP; seems like he injured his ribs in Loenhout last Friday, and is feeling the effects.
Eurosport?
Wow, what a race. One of the best of the season, and given that it contained all the best riders (bar Alvarado), probably the best.
Tempted to say that's an impressive result for Wolff and Carrier, but this is a pretty weak field outside of the top 3.
