Training crash, broken hand and wrist bones. Why isn’t Zoe Backstedt racing?
Oh, ok. That's a pity. At least she'd be ok when the road season starts I guess.Training crash, broken hand and wrist bones.
Happened on 31st October, at the time she indicated that she was still aiming to race this winter. Not aware of any more recent updates.Oh, ok. That's a pity. At least she'd be ok when the road season starts I guess.
Where can I find this race? I am in the US, so finding CX racing is a real challenge.Hope you all watched the Essen race. Mighty strong fighting by Hernandez that not only managed two times to come back to the front group but also made a senseless but lovely attack on one of the last laps. It didn’t hold of course but still hats off for the guts and showing. Vandeputte and Sweeck looked strongest but Vandebosch took the chance when it opened up.
It was an Exact Cross race on 18th October, in Essen Belgium. Here in the UK, it was on Discovery Plus.Where can I find this race? I am in the US, so finding CX racing is a real challenge.

On the men's side, MVDP lining up as expected. Tibor del Grosso also making his season debut.Provisional start list for womens race this weeked Namur at Namur includes Puck Pieterse and surprisingly Jolanda Neff.
The Superprestige/Exact/X²0 races seem to be available on HBO Max in the US. It offers the option of commentary from TNT Sports or just ambient sound.Where can I find this race? I am in the US, so finding CX racing is a real challenge.
Sorry that’s my bad, his name is Kevin SUAREZ FERNANDEZ. Still a great effort despite me misnaming him.Who is Hernandez?
Good race with a strong field , Mason made much of the racing but paid in the end . Vandeputte was able to benefit from tactics sitting in. 2nd remains a great success! Was really hoping to see Mason finally win. So close, but not quite strong enough.
Did MVTH have the stomach to complain? Not only was he acting really unlikable but also very unprofessional. He’s not a junior rider that just started racing CX. What is his problem really? The company manager should consider penalizing poor behavior.Good race with a strong field , Mason made much of the racing but paid in the end . Poor Vanthourenhout complaining about/falling victim to his own tactics.
I saw the complaining and lackadaisical effort, but I missed what set it off?Did MVTH have the stomach to complain? Not only was he acting really unlikable but also very unprofessional. Mid race MVTH had a scuffle with Ryan Kamp. It looked completely unnecessary and just a thing to assert dominance over Kamp. From an outsider perspective it looked like a thing directed specifically against Kamp and something MVTH never would do against eg Vandeputte, Sweek or more importantly Van Aert or Van der Poel. Kind of sneaky bullying showing poor sportsmanship and a deserving attitude. It later happened again but then it was more on Kamp to be fair. MVTH was shuffled back to a top third position and when trying too aggressively to pass Kamp he clipped his front wheel into Kamp’s rear wheel and went down. A ”play stupid games, win stupid prices”-moment.I saw the complaining and lackadaisical effort, but I missed what set it off?
