Two really interesting races in Belgium and the Netherlands with Nys and Del Grosso defending their titles.

In Belgium, Nys and Vanthourenhout quickly got a gap and then Nys dropped Vanthourenhout around the 30 minute mark. When all looked settled Verstrynge came back in the last laps and even caught Nys but had no power left to overtake him in the end.

In Netherlands, Del Grosso dropped everyone in the first laps but after around the 30 minute mark, Ronhaar managed to come back and even got a small gap after a crash from Del Grosso. Tibor quickly came back to Ronhaar, dropped him and then in the last two laps, Van der Haar came from behind, dropped Ronhaar but was unable to catch Del Grosso who won with a few seconds gap.

Retirement couldn't keep Meisen from winning in Germany. He isn't made of porcelain.

Hmm... he appears to be doing retirement slightly... wrong...

In Denmark, Weis won for the 3rd year in a row.
Fini was 2nd and Groenendaal 3rd.

Lisbygd won the women's race ahead of Foldager and Splittorf.

Anna Flynn won the womens UK, Cams now a 4x champ, shame about the pay wall might have been fun to watch.
Unfortunately not, other than all mens race slipping and sliding down a muddy bank which was amusing, the coverage was awful. To be fair it was mainly due to the wind, but only one camera working and a commentator who had very limited knowledge of what was happening.
I think I enjoyed lasts years coverage with a mobile phone better, at least the spectator commentating understood what was happening.
Spend your £3 on something worthwhile.

Edit: now free on youtube.
