isn't the speculation that a former Bruyneel rider verified Landis's charge of organized doping? Wouldn't that be enough to remove the team? Another possibility is Allen Lim admitting something. He's been invisible since Landis's charges.

I absolutely do not want this to happen. I will not be deprived of seeing Armstrong fail miserably this July

Armstrong is planning on a repeat of 1999 where everyone ratchets back their doping and he cranks his up to eleven. The other riders have to worry about their passport values. Armstrong will be retired again before the passport committee next meets to examine riders' values. He does not have to worry about the trend of his blood values.

I think he is planning on using a lot more than micro transfusions with a final rest day unit of blood like it looks like he used last year.

so that's why he didn't do anything this year, he was transfusing blood once a week, so that he had almost a years supply at the time of the tour :p

What is the most amount of blood you can fit in your body?

Say Normal is 5.5l, how much could you safely have? Or safely pack?

He's never tested positive for Catholic, and he's the most tested pope ever so unless you have some real evidence...
He prays at a higher cadence and switched the communion wafers for rice cakes

About one keg's worth. The pic below was taken just before the rider set a new world record up Alpe d'Huez.

ditto. As many said, if it does happen it leaves the door open for a whole slew of PRisms (French hate LA, French are jealous, blah blah blah).

I would say that, Id love to see him ride and fail, but then, if radioshack are found to be guilty of long term doping why should he ride, surely someone like vacon deserve to be in.

That's hilarious by contrast. Vacansoleil are one of the few teams that are arguably worse about doping.

It's probably too late for that.

Too late to invite another team and Vacansoleil is not the cleanest one out there.

BS's latest

OK--2 new sources say RadioShack is definitely in. One is good, one nearly unimpeachable. I am saying for the record RadioShack rides.

you beat me to it.. im wondering what BS stands for..

I don't know what to make of it. It seems too far fetched but I can't see why Bill chamois sniffer Strickland would spread a rumour like this. Either way, the next few days are going to be fascinating. Have to say, i'd prefer them to start and watch live pictures of them in cuffs as the police drive them away. We've seen the LA spin machine at work though, i've already said in the LA thread that it seems like he's preparing the groundwork so that when he is forced to stop he can spin that he would've been up there.

Anyway, I hope the bomb drops on Friday as i'm at home all day so can spend it on t'internet watching it unravel!

Edit: typed before the above posts. Very odd.

I'm just thinking it might be a fun game for a Lance fan like Strickland to tweet (twit, twat, whatever it's called) something like this and then tune in to a known Cancer Lovers hangout like CN forum and watch the message board fill up. We did 69 posts in less than 3 hours based on pure speculation. I can see someone who touched that off being quite entertained.

I don't know, but this article has some great stuff. Hey Armstrong apologists, read this over and over: "What else should testers look for, based on what they've learned from Landis? "One thing I would be looking for, based on Floyd's account," writes Ashenden, "is a steady hemoglobin value throughout the 3-week race." In other words, the inhuman rigors of a grand tour should force those values down. "It is both unnatural and highly suggestive of doping if blood values do not decline during a Tour."

This is very true, and further highlighted by Basso's published results (as much as I hate to use a former cheat as an example) from this year's Giro where his Haemeticrit level dropped steadily throughout the 3 week race (started at 44 and ended at 39 I think) and was held up by a number of sports scientists as the perfect example of how the (un-doped) human body would react to the rigors of a 3 week stage race

Yea, trolls seem to enjoy this place and grocery lines. Its much better when people come to add content. That makes them a member and not just a "member."

I thought the same thing, and wondered if maybe we found the identity of goober or some other apologist.
