I see the Spanish attitude towards doping hasn't changed much.
Still ignorant and apologetic. What did the interviewer reply? Not much, I reckon?
Spain really are acting like a third world country when it comes to anti-doping.

You know it's officially over for LA, when Watson replaces his old pic (with bracelet). LOL!!!

That bike must have some serious suspension.

I can smile about this fool because the value of the rights for all of his pics of LA just cratered.

Sanchez? He is embarrassing himself, gone right down in my estimation since he opened his yap the last few weeks.
I don't know why you guys are surprised about Samu. This is a guy who tested positive as an amateur.

Be entertaining to watch the LA stuff disappear over time.

Plus the spanish have nothing to fear from their anti-doping agency.

Also now Dumoulin is retweeting things like..

"As a fan of cycling, I think it will not change as long as there is Riis, Vino, Contador. No 2nd chance."

"And remove the title of Bjarne Riis right? Cycling the only sport where one is not punished for positive controls."

William Bonnet "They have cheated but it is we who will pay with fewer sponsors, fewer teams" Dumoulin reply "In addition to what they have already stolen all these years"

Jeremy Roy "Cycling plays big today. NO to amnesty... Yes to sanctions and excluding the corrupt #UCIPressConf #futureisnow"

Ricco "A donkey does not become a racehorse"
A Riccardonkey does not become a Ricchorse :p

Samuel Sanchez also coming off as a total moron in all this, just repeated on Spanish TV "If Armstrong hasn't tested positive there is no reason to sanction him"

I like what the frenchies are saying.

I will smile with you while his hard drives full of Armstrong stand there unused.

Hopefully his will be out of cycling soon as people stop buying pics off him.

He's a nice guy though, I've had several conversations with him on Twitter. He just believes the level playing field malarkey, which is not uncommon among people who haven't really followed the problem of doping closely.

Of course the level playing field fallacy doesn't take into account those who choose not to dope. Not to mention some are better responders, the financial requirements to have a good program etc. etc.

Doping is cheating. Period.

"Armstrong, quoi qu'il en soit, c'est un immense champion" a déclaré le sélectionneur français [Jalabert] ce lundi.

http://www.ladepeche.fr/article/201...-est-un-immense-champion-assure-jalabert.html

And to think that once in a job interview, when I was asked to name the 3 people I respected the most, one of the names I gave was Laurent Jalabert. That would have been around 1995/1996. Needless to say I would not make the same mistake again.

Jalabert is a spineless doping apologist. It is troublesome that he is the selectioner of the French national team, he seems to love dopers and have little regard for clean riders.

That's very worrying...I wonder if he will be sacked by his comments...

I was in a bike shop on Saturday and they had some Livestrong Oakleys on display. I thought about trying to negotiate a killer deal (and even joked with the staff about it), but then I realised that I wouldn't ever wear them even if they were free.

In this, we see Greg's latest reaction.
http://www.velonation.com/News/ID/13128/Video-Triple-Tour-de-France-winner-Greg-LeMond-speaks-in-exclusive-interview.aspx

What I also think I see: Greg is responding with intelligence and rationality. However, the effort it takes to answer some of these questions puts Greg on the extreme edge. It costs Lemond a lot of energy to answer these questions. This validates, imo, that he would not be a good prez for the UCI.

However, he does get 5 anti-doper points for calling the Ferrari connection on Lance earlier in his career!

:D

Steffen Kjærgaard will admit to extensive doping throughout his career later today, according to Norwegian news agency NTB.
