Edit - add- Time bonuses Green KM - 3 sprints in the Green KM at the begining, middle and end of the Green KM. Bonus seconds of 3,2 & 1 seconds to the respective first, second and third guys across the line. at each sprint so a maximum of 9 bonus seconds can be had by one guy.

There is also a Super8 Combativity Award, but it'll take someone with a Phd to describe how that works!

Best sprinters field of the entire season. Too bad that the race got shortened to just 5 days as now there is only one hard stage.

Several candidates to win GC but no major favourite I would say. Still, I would expect Wellens, De Lie and Van der Poel to be in the mix maybe Milan as well, though the last stage will probably be too hard for him and for Ganna.

Stage 1 - 5 guys up the road with less then 2 minutes on a peloton filled to the brim with sprinters.

GC wise, whoever wins the ITT should hold a lead until stage 5. It's the 10th anniversary of Wellen's first (of three) GC wins, so a favourite.
