Rado, the snow specialist ! ;)
Finally, he could settle the score ("I'm no beginner" :D) with Nys, referring to the manoeuvre in Vorselaar that Nys did not appreciate. At that time, Nys could say 100 times that Rado was not fair play and others added he had a bad reputation and he could not defend himself.

But the journalist should have told him that this time, Nys admits it was his own fault.

That was an epic crash on the last lap, caused by that MTB'er Fontana trying his luck for a bit of glory and overshooting the bend in his effort to get around the outside. :)

The route is great, but the weather made it way to fast...

Agreed, for me the course at Roubaix is not that great. I was there for the last race which was an epic mud fest but there's not much to differentiate it other than the lap of the velodrome and the two descents and climb of the bank at the end of the velodrome. If it's dry, it's a pretty boring course.

I though that the course today was good but, like Buffalo says, needed more rain on it to slow things up and increase the technicality.

What? Please, Pont-Château is very famous for being a fast route. Already when it hosted the Worlds in 1989.

I've seen many crosses in dry conditions, but very few on which you could reach an average speed of 34kmh. By the way parts of it were still wet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2CzjnAHp2QU (2.50)

There are no stairs on this route. Neither are there sand sections nor hairpin bends.

In Roubaix, you had a sand section and most of all, very long stairs, to break Albert's chicken legs. :p
There's a reason Vervecken won it so many times.

Point of order! There was a very short section of stairs yesteday but they were obscured from the camera positioned at the end of the grass section that followed them.
