Kalmthout is booted of the UCI cyle-Cross Worldcup roster for next year and replaced with the cross in Namen according to Sporza.

So that leaves Belgium still with 3 races: Koksijde, Heusden-Zolder and Namen.

That means that the 21st edition of Kalmthout might never take place and this prestigeous cross will disappear. This is a total knock-out says organiser Louis van den Buijs

Great to see Namen as worldcup, though. Will be held december 18th, next year.

December is certainly a better place in the calendar. Namur is a heavy course and probably too heavy to be raced in September, early in the season. I however would rather it remained a GvA contest.

The best race of the season by far !!!

All 5 had their moments. The way Pauwels exploded everything in laps 3, 4 and 5 was really impressive and this millimeter sprint coming back from 4th position. Wonderful !

Junior race: Laurens Sweeck wins his 13th of the season ahead of brother Dieter (Venturini 7th )

U23 race: win for Jim Aernouts. Lars van der Haer takes the lead back in the GvA GC.
