does putain really mean what goole translate says it means? lolol

In this context, it means f u c k (i n g) :D
It can also be less emphatic, more like "damn". Depends a lot on the delivery.

Like in my avatar, the cat says "Putain, je pète la forme moi" Which could be translated "Damn, I am really flying".
Or course you could replace damn with the f word to add emphasis.

Putain also means person you pay to have sex with.

Porte looks slimmer than ever and confirmed to Cyclingnews that he has lost at least five kilograms compared to a year ago. He revealed that the secret to his diet is less alcohol and lots of support from his fiancée.

"Drinking less beer, less wine and having a good lady behind me is a big difference," Porte said.

A little AICAR doesn't hurt either....

This guy is going to surprise a lot of people at the Giro this year.

In Tassie during summer, Porte spoke with a mate of mine on a bus about banana date vegan smoothies and ever since then he has leaned right down. The extra weight loss for sure did help on this stage and look at his focus of cadence and posture. When the road flattened out he got back in the saddle and span up the cadence to hold wattage. No flapping jersey like 2nd place and his mindset was domination the entire time.

Everyone is on the same *** at the front but not everyone is paying attention to cadence, sufficient carb intake, potassium loading from bananas, mindset, breathing and how posture affect mentality and mentality affects wattage.

Look at Ryder. Dropping wheels then exaggerating his pain to claw back up and then puts his head down and fades off the back. Grinding big gears like its 2005. He has the experience and connections but in 2015 if you are not paying attention to the cadence and posture details you are off the back.

Wonder what happens when you run out of marginal gains? Do you have marginal marginal gains, or marginal marginal marginal gains???

its the paradox of marginal gains,
professing to exhaust marginal gains
gains can replicate their magic status the next season
about from the agitprop, they even admit other teams now match them in marginal gains,
or, truth to orwell, AGGREGATION of marginal gains
which is why if it were truly trade secret or competitive advantage, you keep it in a locked box

just a hint: Armstrong did not ride that road, or the climb, back up into the snow. that was about selling you nike shwag
Armstrong did not weigh his food. Betsy cooked his seafood risotto for him.

because someone says something, does not make what they said the truth. It may be BS, it may be propaganda, it may be diversion and manipulation.

but carry on

I wouldn't bank on him that much. I think there are still a lot ahead of him to win at the Giro.

What you seem to be saying is that Ryder forgot how to ride his bike properly, and his crappy results since 2012 has nothing to do with doping. lol

I don't about any of you guys but I just went out and bought a truck load of Bananas, Date's and a new Blender.

Don't forget to focus on your cadence and posture! I mean that's 30 Watts onto your FTP right there. Slip to 80 rpm and Bam! You're 23 minutes back, riding with Froome.

You forgot rounder wheels, bringing your own pillows, washing your hands, lowering handlebars, using a wind tunnel for the first time and having a track background

Hilarious. So he was drinking more beer, more wine and not getting any when he was dropping everyone in sight as Froome's lieutenant in the 2013 Tour? He had considerable room for improvement?

The horse manure coming from these guys is staggering.

Yeah, I wouldn't be putting any money on him that's for sure. That extra weight that he's lost could make him very vulnerable to getting sick if the weather turns horrible in May. Dr. Ferrari is always reminding people of this on his website. Wiggins and Froome each won the TdF with barely a single day of bad weather.

That must be it he's become a horse/man.

Then I saw when the Lamb broke one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying as with a voice of thunder, “Come.” I looked, and behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.

In the days before EPO, yes. Now? Porte will be "on form" for at least 8 weeks including the run-in into Giro del Trentino. What's down is up and vice-versa.

If he were actually on bread and water, he's blown his podium chance at the Giro.
