Pretty simple really Contador was on drugs now he isnt

spalco said:Well, he won the Vuelta "clean". It could be that he's only charging up for the big races since his ban.

We all know how much of a chump Alberto Contador is. Heck Porte was the real talent at Saxo back in 2010 and 2011. Now he doesn't have to tow the line his confidence has grown leaps and bounds. It's perfectly natural for him to be finishing right next to a poser like Contador. Perfectly normal.![]()

Galic Ho said:Like I care. I read everyone's messages. Lets me know how full of $h1t people really are.
Censoring and blocking IMO is for ***. Cowards. Sooks. Cry babies...ok, we all get the picture.
But it is good to know I was so effective another Sky lover couldn't handle me...

BYOP88 said:David Arroyo says 'hello'!
The only reason Porte finished top 10 was due to the time he gained by being in the break.

LaFlorecita said:everything is relative, sure Alberto seems to be lacking but that doesn't change the fact that both Richieborg and the Dog improved drastically. Actually, I think they could beat Alberto in his best ever form![]()
Baltazar said:What I do not understand is, if Contador was doping during the 2011 Giro, why would he stop now? Nothing has changed, the consequences of getting caught are the same now as they were then. And if he was not doping then, is he really worse now, or are the others getting better? What do the numbers say?
leon7766 said:You must have forgotten ho dominant Contador was when he was cheating the world of cycling .Sky because they are clean have to work together and plan meticulously to win races
leon7766 said:Im pretty sure your perfomance wouldnt drop straight away
Cimber said:Do you honestly believe Sky is clean and they rip all the dopers apart without using dope themselves? They just work harder and plan better? Really? What planet do u come from? Maybe I are excused if you havent followed cycling for a long while.
spalco said:I suppose he's actually saying that nobody's doping anymore, and now the natural performance level of the riders becomes visible, and thus Sky winning races because they have the best athletes.
It's theoretically a plausible conclusion, however, even as someone who's sceptical about the Clinic's consensus on Sky doping, I have to admit it stretches credibility in several different ways.

Cimber said:It does (well it drops rather fast). Just read some of Jackshes statements on how his performance dropped when he held a pause cos he felt the heat
leon7766 said:I am saying that although I wouldnt say nobody
leon7766 said:Without being a doctor and only going on what I read about athletes it doesnt diminish that quickly
Cimber said:Yeah thats extremely naive. I mean, to honestly think that the whole peleton is more or less doping-free now.
Its good to see some of the newer fans can actuelly still be naive about doping and keep a positive attitude about the problem, but it is nevertheless extremely naive.
Cimber said:Its cute and even exhilarating that you honestly think that. For a while after the Festina-scandal I too believed that they had learned and things were. It saddens me that your positive but very naive conviction is bound to be shattered in time.
leon7766 said:But I would retort with the comment I am not naive I just havent been infected with the disease that has distorted the views of the majority on this part of the forum You know the one where everyone cheats and every perfomance is shown to be the result of drugs win or lose
