And even with all those attacks it seems impossible to split up the pack.
Tomorrow it must be for Kristoff, Degenkolb, Matthews, Sagan... it's impossible to do something here

Or a final jump like Kwiatkowski last year in the last lap, must happen on 23rd street. But unlikely yeah.

Gotta admit, Richmond is one of the ugliest cities I've seen featured in bike racing. Almost as ugly as the "Virginia is for lovers" slogan.

Sod off, it's a gorgeous city. Can't help what they don't show and what they do.

To be fair, a bunch of people have remarked how ugly it looks from the race pictures. Obviously you can't assume the whole city looks like what they've shown but the area around most of the course has not been very attractive.

How about a different slogan. "We Virginians would really appreciate it if you didn't view our city from a helicopter. Our town looks like a dump from above."
Or maybe, "Virginia: Don't look down."
Maybe I have a future in PR.

If you are into post-apocalyptic places, I guess it's looking good.

Really? Did you see the gaps in junior and U23?

Normally, there's far less selection in junior/u23 than the senior-race, due to shorter race and fewer dedicated domestiques who sacrifice themselves to make the race hard.

I'd be seriously surprised if it's a sprint.

Hahaha! Now that's a slogan I can approve.

Richmond is so-so, I'm only four-five hours away, but if I drove down that way, I'd rather just head over to Williamsburg, VA instead.

Love this.

I'm not seeing the Altria adverts, so maybe it's just TTs that are tobacco friendly.

Coryn Rivera is riding this smart.

IMO, it looks like the favorites went to "plan b."

0:55 now!

And teams with riders in the break are not going to work. This course could actually be good for breakaway. Think about one with Nibali, Terpsta, Vanmacke and Boonen.
