Nibali:
Here is what is confirmed now: Nibali will make his season debut at the Dubai Tour on February 4, followed by the Tour of Oman in mid-February. His European debut will come on home roads, with a return to Tirreno-Adriatico after racing Paris-Nice last year, followed by Milano-Sanremo in March. After that, he will return to the Ardennes, with starts at Amstel Gold Race and Liège-Bastogne-Liège.

After the classics, the roadmap back to the Tour remains undecided, but the team official wrote, “For sure, he will be at the Tour, [but] it’s difficult to see him at the next Giro d’Italia.”....a return to the Dauphine also seems likely.

Mollema: "I will start in Mallorca and then I'll do Murcia, Ruta del Sol, Tirreno, Pais Vasco and then the Classics. After that there might be a break and then we'll work towards the Tour de France."

I needed a new challenge => Trek's new signing aiming at Tour de France top five (this guy's logic is just awesome considering he has a career best of 6th in the Tour. It will be so exciting if he gets an invisible 5th place, I think I'll cheer for him this year!)

This is basically why people love Contador talking about doubles and crazy stuff like that; imagine we would only have Mollema kind of guys  Anyway I hope he gets a GT stage win this year and some stage race somewhere.

Mollema is what you would get if you stripped Dan Martin of a little of his punch and all of his ambition. BAUKE: DO NOT BASE YOUR WHOLE SEASON AROUND A TOUR TOP 10!!!' The world has enough JVDB2s.

Also why Tirreno? Why? Why not try to win a marginally more prestigious race while all of the guys you can't beat are walloping each other in Italy?

Trek is at fault too by letting Schleck, Zubeldia and Mollema all focus on the TdF. It will be an invisibility contest but hey they might win the team GC!

They should send Zubeldia as their leader to the Giro, Arrendondo wants to win the polka dot jersey and is supposed to ride the Tour, so why should you bring your 3 GC guys to the Tour.
At the end of the Giro Zubeldia could be in the top5, he will benefit from the long ITT.

Tony Martin

Tour of Dubai
Paris Nice
Tour of the Basque Country
Amstel Gold Race
Tour de Romandie

No Giro? He should ride the Giro ITT, leave the Giro afterwards and Romandie. He'll ride the TdF, that's for sure, the team needs him on the flat stages and in the TTT. I think the should skip the Vuelta and ride the ToB instead as a preparation race for the WC ITT and TTT.

Volta ao Algarve

Caja Rural
Ricardo Vilela
José Gonçalves
Omar Fraile
Luis Mas
Ángel Madrazo
Fabricio Ferrari
Heiner Parra
Hugh Carthy

LOTTO NL-JUMBO
Robert Gesink
Paul Martens
Sep Vanmarcke
Tom van Asbroeck
Bram Tankink
Robert Wagner
Kevin de Weert
Maarten Wynants

Lotto Soudal
André Greipel
Tony Gallopin
Jens Debusschere

Etixx-Quick Step
Michal Kwiatkowski

+1.
The more time they put on the TT's the less work for the other teammates on the mountains.

Paris-Nice
Milan-Sanremo
Gent-Wevelgem
País Vasco
Ardennes

No Strade :(

Like it (except the no Strade Bianchi part).
Since they already gave schedule for Martin that includes Romandie, I assume it indicates Kwiatkowski is not going to that race and has rest after Ardennes.

Dan Martin' schedule not finalised but will include:

Ardennes (obviously)
Tour de France

Will probably include:

Catalunya
Tirreno Adriatico

He should really do Paris Nice with serious ambition, but no, it seems everyone wants to do TA.
Yes, almost all the big riders will do TA.This year Paris Nice is a good opportunity for young riders like wilco kelderman who can achieve a nice result.

Yes, I don't really understand it. Paris Nice is a slightly more prestigious race in theory, and the competition will be much easier. You'd think at least a few established big names would see the opportunity to go for a big win, but no, they all choose the probably better weather in Italy.

The positive side is that TA will have a field comparable to the Tour, while we will get a chance to see the outsiders and young prospects contest PN. But I really don't like the idea of PN becoming a glorified Tour de Pologne.

On a more positive note, Martin also said in the same interview that his crashes this year made him rethink the strategy of putting all his focus on a couple of races and treating other races as preparation. Instead he says he wants to put the peddle to the metal in lots of races and see what he can win.

That's the kind of thing I want to hear from every rider.

I think it's because of T-A new routes that instead of favouring hilly riders suit GT riders with the HC climbs and real MTFs and a chance to practice the TTT as well as the ITT. Perfect race template for the GT riders to have as their spring goal.

Yes, that probably is an influence. After all, Italy always had better weather but PN usually had a better field.

It doesn't really excuse riders who are great on hilly courses though. A Martin or a Mollema isn't going to be favoured against the big four on a mini-GT course, but both should be top contenders on a hilly one.

I absolutely agree with that, and I think P-N should realise that and try to make it the ideal (prep) race for the classics riders.

Imo I think this shows the benefit of races overlapping. Competition forces both races to do better.
