Pogacar is the favorite, but even with him the gaps remained relatively small the past couple of years, with >40 guys within ~2 minutes last time for example.

As Trentin said in the pre-race interview, we have seen a bit of a pattern of the peloton becoming "smarter" recently. It gets organized more quickly, doesn't automatically give up after an early attack etc. And it's also something were Evenepoel's presence could make a difference.

2 minutes is massive considering how short the climbs are

Burgos trying to infiltrate yes yes good strategy, despite the flagrantly anti-Mongolian parcours, the directors opting not to hold the race 3500m above sea-level.

According to PCS Oliveira crashed already? Probably it was a small crash but today we will have carnage on the roads.

UAE is not happy with Dillier there.

And some minor teams missed it. But if that front group just works hard for a second they should be gone

They're trying to stop for a nature break a bit early there, it's not quite over over

A few randoms always panic and form a little group in the middle
