I think last season proved that Wright's sprint isn't anything to count on.

For all his second and third places, the only sprint he really choked was the one he lost to Herrada. The other times Pedersen was just faster, and I think Wright climbs better.

I think it might have been his last proper match he just had to burn, tbh.

There were other races like the commonwealth games where he looked like the favourite and then went nowhere in the sprint. It could be different after such a long race of course.

Gap seems to have stabilised around the 40-second mark now, if the GPS is correct. Needs to fall before the final Kwaremont starts, otherwise you probably aren't doing better than catching the best riders up front.
