This present iteration of Wout van Aert is what would happen if Geraint Thomas had the classics skills of 2011-2013 (including being unbeatable at races like E3 but not replicating it at races like de Ronde), the climbing skills of 2018-9, but added elite bike handling.

Probably the best edition of RVV I recall since the move of the finish to Oudenaarde though, although I didn't watch a fair few of them live to avoid getting into Sagan-related flame wars so couldn't necessarily vouch for the excitement of watching them in the moment.
