The thing is, they're going into a headwind. You'd think the group would have an advantage here. But they can't make up any ground on either Pog or VdP.

To be fair, it was obvious that Wout should've won last year. He was in suberb form, one level above today. Might never win this race looking at how it panned out today unless he hits that monsterform again or just get lucky.
