Top 10:

3-Bouhanni (FDJ.fr)
4-Roche (Tinkoff-Saxo)
5-Hardy (Cofidis)

7-Di Gregorio (Team La Pomme-Marseille 13)
8-Boswell (Team SKY)

Ridiculous performance by Bouhanni, he's certainly motivated for TDF...

It was mostly false flat and he is quite decent uphill for a bunch sprinter. I hope he'll win stage 3.

"Anything Arnaud can do, I can do better."
[Madiot] : "No you can't."
[Nacer] : "Yes I can."

Wow. Definitely a good performance by Bouhanni. I always thought he was more of a pure sprinter....Demare is probably bummed by his performance here. :D He is showing he can climb well and sprint very fast.

There's always Tourmalet

But nah, Azet is like 4km @ 9% or something so enough to have a chance to grind it out Sayar style.

Alright so Kudus was in the Bouhanni/Valverde group, hopefully he's fully recovered and in shape after his crash in Turkey.

Today should be for him :)

Breakaway: Nacer Bouhanni, Mickaël Delage (FDJ.fr), Jérôme Cousin (Europcar), Alexis Vuillermoz (AG2R La Mondiale), Pierre-Luc Périchon (Bretagne-Séché), Nathan Earle (Sky), Carlos Quintero (Colombia) Flavien Dassonville (BigMat Auber 93), Egoitz Garcia (Cofidis)

Almost at the top of Tourmalet. Bouhanni going for the GC win? He's the virtual leader now at least...

Smart move by Nacer. The modern peloton would almost certainly soft pedal Tourmalet on a stage like today.

Gives him a head start up Aspin.
