So I guess all the Contador fans on here who said not to bring Roche to the Tour should maybe eat their words ???

I said he usually needs a GT in his legs for form but I guess you will just say he is not a good enough domestigue and ignore all his work for the team last year

There are none so blind as those who will not see

The point being made about Roche isn't about his talent. It's his commitment and willingness to work for others that has been questionable in the past.

I am not anyone's relative, wag **** or something !!!!!!!!

You and other here have been talking utter unadulterated rubbish about Roche and rather admit to it you chose to insult someone.........and still you persist that he is not a good domestique ... You haven't a clue

Perverse insulting is kinda the level of your intellectual and debating skills

AFAIK ...where are you when some is actually being insulting .....guess you have only selective monitoring

At this point their opinions can no longer be excused by ignorance or shortsightedness, they are clearly trolls. Just put them on your ignorelist and move on.

easy;), you give me arguments which are not important and not to subject and instead you make up nonsense arguments and then saying I've got no clue:rolleyes:
Just give me an example were Roche was a really good domestique when it mattered.

Stage 13 TdF last year where Contador won back over a minute on Froome.

Ohh I forgot that there were couple of hc climbs along the way in 13.stage. :D I mean,Roche is not suppose to be freakin rouler (of course Im grateful for his help to ac in st 13 tho) but a MOUNTAIN domestique, that was my point (I know you probablly havent seen all my post in AC thread, sorry then) ,he just didnt fulfil this role and you cant deny that cuz there is no argument to prove otherwise.

Now you're moving the goalposts. What you asked for is "an example were Roche was a really good domestique when it mattered", and if gaining over a minute on the GC leader in a flat stage doesn't matter then I don't know what does. I think Roche's talent as a rouleur is pretty important -- a big bonus over pure mountain domestiques.

To be fair this is a good point. A Domestique helping gain a minute on a flat stage is probably more important than being close too the leader in the mountains (baring a mechanical, which is important). Contador's not Froome/Wiggin's. He doesn't need to pace setters to frighten people from attacking.... he's usually the one attacking.
