It would be pretty awesome if Contador, stuck in "Ima show them" mode, blew himself up trying to follow Rujano, allowing people closer to him in the GC to pull something fun.will10 said:To be honest I am hoping Ryo is right and Rujano will take it to Elberto. He can't win overall but it'd be great to see someone kick Contadors *** on even one stage![]()

Ryo Hazuki said:that's what I;m hoping too because contador isn;t known to losing abnd already he seems to hate rujano. this will be fun
c&cfan said:but sucking wheels?c'mon..
roundabout said:Btw, is Rujano really that good on steeper climbs?
Ryo Hazuki said:oh yes and it is perfectly normal. the guy is 48 kg and kicks around 8 watt per kg weight. gravity tells you he will be unmatched in the real steep mountains. he is notorious in south america for many things but a true testimony to how strong he is in steep climbs are his incredible mountain itt's.

malanb said:And about PED use ,Venezuelan cyclists dope. I m not saying Rujano does. But I know some ex profi cyclists, and I know all about it. Maybe not as Euro rides, but they have their good share of Testo and other hormones even EPO
Ryaguas said:He's not idiot to put himself in the strong head wind... also He had no chance to win the sprint against Alberto...
Just wait till the Zoncolan!
His anaerobical skills are just amazing... and his diesel is working perfectly as we saw today...
HEY! Ryo! and the most important! HE IS MOTIVATED!
jaylew said:Where are you getting that Contador seems to hate Rujano?
A real shame he lost those 5 minutes.

Ryo Hazuki said:todays stage. he was physically annoyed when rujano wouldn't want to take over and just kept attacking him after that
Ryo Hazuki said:also contador absolutely great and respect for his attack but after that he triest to drop rujano twice and when he sees he can't drop him gets frustrated and asks him to take over and rujano refuses and he gets angry from it. what do you expect?! when your opponent is trying to drop you then of course you aren;'t going to assist him in taking over so he can jump away from behind your back. contador shouldn't be such a crybaby
El Pistolero said:Cause it's Contador and he does this all the time. He was going to gift stage 14 of VaE 2008 to Valverde for example, but he cracked. Then Contador decided to be a ****** against Mosquera![]()
spalco said:Please list exactly. I still don't think he gifted the Tourmalet stage to Andy btw. Imo gifting stages is absurd and not even very respectful except in very specific circumstances, like when you do it to a teammate, or maybe to someone who has no ambitions for the GC and helped you gain more time.
It's pure speculation, but it's restday so whatever, but I strongly don't think Contador would have "gifted" the stage to Rujano regardless of what he could've done and I think he should not have.
