I don't think team sky have any qualms about "losing" the yellow jersey if brad happens to win the prologue. Brailsford and yates know to look at the big picture and won't succumb to any pressure from their sponsors (which i don't expect to see anyway)

Hoping for Eddy, never seen anyone "attacking" roundabouts like he does. He will keep the pace where others slow down.

Meh, he hasn't trained enough on his TT bike this year. He's done a little this week, but that's obviously far too late. Might just get the white jersey though, but I can't imagine him winning unless he somehow is extremely lucky with changing weather conditions.

Cancellara? Cancellara! Cancellara.

There is simply no one so totally in control on a TT bike as him. He is the king and Eddy (2nd in the Norwegian ITT nationals) is at best a pretender.

Jens_attacks why do you talk about riders like Wiggins and Rogers? They are not of the kind you normally like, are they?

He likes almost any rider

That's what true cycling fan should do in my view :)

Ahh, and Jens is the guy that invented first time - UK Postal while in Algarve :p :D

i like them as a team.cycling needs stronger and stronger teams.if you have a 20 million budget than there's no excuse to not do what they did on joux-plane and everything this year.i just like their mentality especially bradley's

plus i came up with the uk postal thing so i hope they won't let me down:p

and yes there aren't more than one dozen riders i don't like.

Well Sky have smaller budget than Katusha, Astana, Radioshack and BMC :p

On par with Omega, Movistar and now as well with GreenEdge who got Orica as very big sponsor.

Just a sidenote.

We believe in UK Postal :)

A thought on the UK Postal thing. How many different tour stage winners did US Postal have in their history, and will the UK version match that this year?

One could argue that the big budgets don't necessarily matter that much :p

However, Sky's current team is indeed impressive at the moment, whether you appreciate it or not. They could have 3 riders in top10 at the prologue...
It will be interesting to see them on bigger 'bumps' than Joux-Plane with better riders than Weening and Kiriyenka though.

Heras and Hincapie if my memory doesn't fail me. Sky still have EBH and Cav for wins, so yeah.. Could easily match it in one year

Pfft, Paolo Savoldelli.

Not a stage winner, but yellow jersey wearer in the 2003 Tour after the stage 4 TTT was Victor Hugo Pena, by virtue of 1) his better result in the prologue than any other USPS rider, 2) the TTT won by USPS, and 3) it was LA's "off" year.

When did Big George win a stage? I thought the whole Garmin / HTC / Cavendish mess was about him finally trying to win one

EDIT twice
Hincapie and Salvodelii won in 2005
also
Popovich in 2006 and Contador in 2007
