I thought at 800m to go that Milan would win easily, it was nice to see a competitive battle for the stage between likeable riders instead

That finish was harder than expected - Groenewegen want far too early, however his sprint train did not help him.

as Lequack mentioned above, today's finish was yesterday's start. So normally everyone should have known.

The two jayco Alula lead out riders went too early - They should have put the gas down with 300 metres to go, instead of 500 metres to go.

yeah, but it still can't really be "harder than expected" for them, unless they were more busy taking selfies at that mirrored building yesterday.

The Saudi Tour is a good early season race, especially with the windy conditions making riders work hard - My guess is there will be a women's edition in the next two or three years.
