Scheldeprijs Schoten: October 14th, 2020

The sprinters deserve a chance as well. That's why the Scheldeprijs Schoten exists. Because of the corona restrictions this 108th edition won't start in the Netherlands. For spectators a mouth mask is obligatory, and they're not allowed in the start and finish zone. The organizers ask the fans to follow the event at home.

The race will consist of ten local laps of 17.4 km in Schoten, Antwerp. A good mathematician knows that this gives a total of 174 km. Because of road works the cobblestones of the Broekstraat are left out. All recent editions were decided by a bunch sprint .

Fixed that for you.

The last 10kms are more than enough watching for me. Kind of a shame FDJ isn't there with Demare and his train though, would like to see Scotson vs Archbold, Morkov and Kluge. With the way Scotson is going in the Giro he may have their measure.
