For people that dislike Contador, which is the majority, he will not be considered the 2010 TDF winner. And people overall don't like cheats in general, so Contador will never be considered the winner, even unofficially in most people's eyes.

A lot of people booed Contador in 2010. He was never a crowd favorite, so your blind fan favoritism is clouding your judgement.

But "In people's eyes" doesn't matter. What matters is the official record. And that shows AS as the winner for 2010. To the majority, Contador will always be a cheat in their eyes now. He'll never gain back his reputation. Sorry but it's the cold hard truth and the reality of the situation.

While i do agree that AC cheated, his offending level was so low there is no possible way of knowing if it provided an increase in performance. give the guy a chance to come back clean and then we can compare like with like!

Unless you have some inside information which none of us have you have no idea if Contador did dope and to what extent and what the circumstances were, so if you are so moral that you can't enjoy a TDF without a cetain rider then consider the fact that it is actually totally unfair to put him down to that extent.

All of those riders have had negative threads in the past just listed under other titles. Let's face it, Andy Schleck is an expert at giving himself bad press. As for the Contador mess I think most people are caught in between. A mixture of anger and disappointment.

I find Andy Schleck inoffensive and if anything kind of Bland that's why I'm surprised this is the only thread of its kind.

Bruyneel and Schleck are right that there are more, or rather, better opportunities to attack from "far" out this year.

If Andy attacks, RadioShack will already have destroyed most of the field, so it'll be every man for himself with the odd super domestique thrown in. Unless Sky really goes Postal on us, which I ****ing doubt.

i'm all for attacking from far out but that's of course riskier than save it for a full-gas last 6 km of the climb armstrong style.2011 route was way better than 2012 for andy.
the good phrase should have been:
