Server beta.cyclingnew.com?????

Everytime i click into a new froum or thread or topic or just about anything for that matter, i keep getting a popup that reads:


"The server beta.cyclingnews.com at Restricted requires a username and password.

Warning: This server is requesting that your username and password be sent in an insecure manner (basic authentication without a secure connection)."


Then it asks for you to enter a username and password.

At first i thought it was the new way to log onto you forum account but then i realised that you could still log onto said account the normal way.

Anyone know what this is?

I didnt put any details into it as i don't know what it is for

Some kind of server problem. I am trying to get in touch with someone to fix it.

It's an issue with something that's just been rolled out.

Developers are aware and are currently addressing it.
