I'm not sure you guys checked the profile.
Plenty of poor TTers did great today (see Rosa for example).

And I remember Kennaugh doing an ok prologue in Romandie last year anyway.
He's not as poor as you're saying, not as bad as Bongiorno for sure.

I don't think he is particularly good at flat TT's but today's wasn't flat at all so I'm surprised by his and Bongiorno's average/poor performances.

how can you be surprised by bongiorni. his itt is terrible
