Has this Cipo thing finally been put to bed as the PR stunt it is?

Or are people actually believing that Cipo can come back and race in a Giro with no winter training and no early season racing? Yeah he keeps himself in shape but he doesn't train like a pro nor race and that no Italian teams seem to be beating a path to his door gives creedence to that.

I don't see him racing, if he was serious his best chance would have been to sign an agreement with a team hoping to bolster their chances of a wildcard, that day, like his, has passed.

rumsas has never been clean for a day in his life. it says more than enough that instead of focusing on returning as a pro he focused on the granfondo;s simply because he could keep using everything that he wanted. he was suspended btw for 2 or 3 years that's why he's recently returned in the granfondo's. as they finally choose to enforce doping rules there. of course without doping he would still be very strong as hit wasn't the mid 90s, but his mentality lacks as a rider of this era

Rumsas was caught bang to rights, but I can never quite get over the hypocrisy in the sport - the 3rd placed rider on the Tour Podium has to see the 2nd & 1st placed riders get away scot free.

Sorry to correct you, but he tried to go back to pro ranks with Acqua&Sapone but then the team was forced to leave him at home as the race organizers started to tell them "...if you bring the guy, your team wont race".

he is very serious about returning. no pr stunt and he lives like a pro and never stopped that. he returned after 3 years with rock racing when he was 40 and still was ace
