Thanks for the information.CTQ said:Escarabajo said:What happened? why he is not in the Dauphine roster?
His cousin Sebastian posted a photo of Sergio Friday during a training on his My Story-Instagram . This year, Team Sky is doing the Route du Sud-La Dépeche du Midi, perharps they want him in this race , if not Tour de Suisse????
And from the facebook page of Route du Sud, Sebastian is scheduled for this race.
"Sebastian Henao Gomez, con tan solo 23 años, finalizó su cuarto Giro d'Italia. Ahora, el corredor colombiano se prepara para la La Route du Sud, competencia que podrás ver, por Señal Colombia, desde el 15 de junio.→http://www.senalcolombia.tv/…/sebastian-henao-buen-ciclista…"

Because he isn't doing Dauphiné suddenly TdF participation is in doubt?Right now it would take way more sense to keep Landa or Poels at home.
That would make a lot of sense, having Henao at race fitness for that tough, punchy twelve (thirteen?) days and Poels and Co. for the rest. But it seems (as per steephill) that they have Poels as their protected rider at Swiss, so maybe they're thinking Landa and Thomas will do for that uninspiring last week and Poels and Henao should be sharp for the first couple?Ruudz0r said:I think Henao will just do Suisse instead of Dauphine? They didnt have a real leader for Suisse as Poels is probably not at 100%, so a good oppertunity to give Henao another role as a leader and make him happier.

Froome probably wants them as fresh as possible for the Tour/Vuelta double, his team wasn't as strong as he liked at last years Vuelta.
Pricey_sky said:Perhaps Sky feel they are better by just having some more altitude training, they've had a decent break so keep them as fresh as possible so they could do the Tour/Vuelta double as I said.
Henao is in Antioquia.pastronef said:Pricey_sky said:Perhaps Sky feel they are better by just having some more altitude training, they've had a decent break so keep them as fresh as possible so they could do the Tour/Vuelta double as I said.
no more altitude, the Teide camp is finished, Poels is in Monaco, Nieve and Henao at home in Spain
