Surely Italy are trying to something about doping, banning Ferrari, padua investigation and having no convicted riders at worlds.

Italy's anti doping effort is all about appearance and PR. Banning Scarponi for 3 months off season after spending time with Ferrari demonstrate complete failure when it comes to execution.

I expect the clowns at RAI to continue to celebrate/interview the old dopers come Giro time.

No. The hog bashes blatant dopers.

I did so against great adversity for the Armstrong years.

I will do the same for Sky until they scale it back.

No the hog has exposed himself as an encourager of doping, your posts show us that.

(why do you refer to yourself in the third person, it is something Johnny Adair does).

I get a lot of criticism I know. Many are uncomfortable when I call out their favorite team/rider.. But I call out the dopers regardless of nationality.

When I see “not normal” I call it.

I don’t let personal bias get in the way.

I love watching Contador ride. All class. Is he a doper? Yes he is. But boy he looks good on a bike. In a clean bike race he’d win for sure. Hands down.

Froome is not normal. Sorry.

No, he doesn't look normal. I must admit he's a nice guy though.

3 months or 6 months ban in the off season isn't fighting dope it is helping/assisting the doping culture. Proof is in my last posting: “Other award winners included Italian national champion Franco Pellizotti” All the Italians want is to get the dopers back on the road as fast as possible legally. Cheating IS the Italian way!

I actually think what we find here is that you don't call out dopers but those you don't really like, I suspect that this is partly to deflect criticism from your idol and partly as a wind-up merchant.

For such behavoir criticism from other posters is to be expected, though I suspect it massages your ego.

This is not about me remember. Don’t fight the hog. Fight the dopers.

Froome hasn't won anything and tried for years. Aldopo has won everything and probably never raced without dope. You’re wrong and the results are proof enough.

Normal Froome won nothing.

Not Normal Froome is going "blow up" a race one of these days. He could have done so at the 2012 Tour.

Chronos very impressive.

Froome's TT performances in the 2008 Tour were 31st in the Cholet ITT (+1'49 to Schumacher, +1'31 to Kirchen, over 29km) and 14th in the penultimate day Saint-Amand ITT (+3'00 to Schumacher, +2'39 to Cancellara, over 53km).

In this year's Tour's Besançon ITT, Philippe Gilbert placed 31st (+3'47 to Wiggins, over 41km), and Daniel Oss placed 14th in the penultimate day Chartres ITT (+3'27 to Wiggins, over 52km).

Would anyone describe either Gilbert's or Oss' performances as "very impressive"? Should we be expecting either of them to be out-TTing Cancellara and Tony M. anytime soon?

Very good observation.

This whole alien Froome is vacuous as best, ugly bias at worst. You love Contador so much you are willing to forgive his doping, but Froome looks like a preying Mantis so he's condemned?

Utter, utter drivel.

Factor in talking about yourself in the third person and we have both hypocrite and meglomaniac.

Contador looks great on a bike, oozes European panache. Froome is the opposite but if either are doping neither should be riding. There are no degrees of guilt, and no lighter sentences because you make it look good. Perhaps Contador should get preference because he's so stylish, just like Wiggins should for being a toff from Maida Vale.

The credibility is gone when you grade drug cheats according to how they look on a bike or ride a race. Dopers make for entertaining riding, bit it's a sham. Who doesn't love Pantani, Coppi, Tom Simpson? Drug cheats all of them, and thrilling bike riders.

It isn't a personality contest, and you don't win GTs on artistic merit. Post something with intelligence and something without resorting to lying for a change

Me next Jimmy, pick me next.

Contador has literally nothing to do with Froome's extreme rise to prominence.

C'Mon! This doesn't look like Froome at the Tour?

100% certifiably alien.

This post seems to be made of arbitrarily connecting words together to create sentences that say nothing.

No, Contador has nothing to do with Froome's emergence. Happy?

Hmmm. Half of your previous post was about thehog, the rest was about Contador. I thought we were talking about Froomey's ridiculous performances? But I may be wrong.
