That's what the ITA have been desperate for, and who better then a devout Catholic?! I imagine though, a team of Ineos lawyers are already on this. I do also wonder why Rozman did n't follow his best bud Froome to IPT.

What could be interesting is if UK's Parliament get involved as British taxpayers were involved via British Cycling's partnership with Team Sky up to 2016 (https://www.tntsports.co.uk/cycling...partnership-after-2016_sto4804214/story.shtml ).

strictly speaking that wasnt the case Sky sponsored British Cycling, just like HSBC did, then Shell and now also Lloyds TSB do.

Sky also seperately sponsored/owned Team Sky, who were a distinct entity, who had alot of help from British Cycling in those days, but precisely because one involved taxpayer/lottery funding, and the other were a privately sponsored team, they were supposed to operate with a chinese wall indepence from one another even though basically operated out of the same building and lots of BC people ended up working for Team Sky and vice versa

and it didnt always work of course jiffygate being the most obvious break down where a BC coach delivered the infamous package simply because Team Sky had told them to do it, and both Brailsford & Sutton held dual roles for a while as well, which I think after 2012 they did recognise was a conflict of interest area and they tried to operate more as an indepent setup than just a satellite from BC.

all of which is to say parliament wont be that interested because whatever Team Sky were doing wasnt funded by the taxpayer.

I had a chuckle today when Rob Hatch informed viewers that G was absolved of all the current suspicion because he wasn't on the Tour team in 2012.
The funny thing is I only caught half of that, must have just walked in from getting a coffee, and hadnt a clue what he was talking about, and I was like, well of course he wasn't at the tour in 2012 what's that got to do with price of fish on this stage !?!? Thinking it was some weird meta Hatchism reference to when they didnt come here in 2012. And then they never mentioned it again till the end of the stage and I was still like what the hell have i missed today.

Stage 14's post-stage press conference not one of the longest ...
https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/th...r-doping-link-after-tour-de-france-stage-win/
Initially, a request was made that the press conference questions be solely race-related, but when Arensman did arrive for his press conference – after a considerable delay – Julien Prétot of Reuters and Chris Marshall-Bell of Cycling Weekly both asked questions on the topic. This was after an ASO employee had checked the accreditations and noted the publications of the journalists who expressed a desire to ask about the issue. The press conference lasted less than four minutes, with just four questions asked.

They've *** up the PR with this one.

I think the play was to say they are investigating the employee and have sent him on gardening leave during the race. This wards off any potential awkward questions like this. Then at the end of the season say it has concluded and quietly bring him back in (assuming they know who he is/what he knows etc...).

Stonewalling during a moment of heightened press attention guarantees they will just carry on asking, assuming Arensman doesn't know anything about this and it was an inner circle type deal, he's been hung out to dry.

ASO today made it clear that any questions about any of that unpleasantness by the press at today's stage are unacceptable;

Reuters sport -

So everything is becoming classic again. The sports wide culture of silence, the gaps, the racing in some ways. Even the type of champions are made of the same cloth as in the merry days. Just like the 90ies and their fallout didn't happen.
I think the plot thickens that there is no bloody motor, or wonderdrug, or anything like this. But plain old omerta and a protective world body plus a lackluster testing regime.

This, and it is so obvious, too. Amateurish, really.

Rozman is friends with the Hauptman family, Pogacar's personal masseur/best mate Žiga Jerman and Boštjan Kavčnik.

Proof of nothing no, and may be innocent but connected in some way at least and worthy of enquiry.

Check his followers;

rozman lives 16 km from pogacar

Same as it ever was. From Verbruggen covering up Armstrong positives to Cookson cosying up to ‘his friends at Sky’ to Lappartient eulogising over Pogacar.

The more things change the more they stay the same.

Going from the text messages, it seems that Rozman has helped out the Slovenians at the Worlds too.
The Times seems to be the only paper of merit to write on the Rozman story in the UK. Ineos have lawyers aplenty.
The ASO's checking journalists questions shows just how taboo even talking about cycling's dark side is in this now big bucks, "Hallmark"channel image version of the sport.
Edit - add- from https://www.thetimes.com/sport/cycl...hmidt-cycling-doping-tour-de-france-tmjz9bs6q
Rozman was also a member of the Team GB support staff who served as a carer for Wiggins and Chris Froome at the 2012 London Olympics.
also it seems my guess was right for "Maestro Baltazar"s nationality,
...a suspected drug dealer, based in Slovenia and codenamed Maestro Baltazar.

What was the relevance of asking Arensmann questions about this case. Poor Arenssmann was in nappies in 2012 and would have nothing to offer. Sometimes you need to more wisely choose your targets.

As the man in question is Ineos Head Carer today, I think it not unreasonable to ask Arensmann, in light of no one else willing to face the press.

But what says SLOADO (Slovenia's national anti-doping agency) about a known provider of PEDs to athletes in their country? Janko Dvorsak, SLOADO's director and only employee (!), on their 10th anniversary lamented the lack of money and manpower,
https://www.slovenskenovice.si/pole...organizacija-na-leto-testira-1100-sportnikov/
We cannot continue to operate to the extent that we have been in these ten years. We need financial and human resources.

so you will give us a comparison for any other country of testers per athlete or just more insinuations ?

This I posted before, but is worth remembering, this is not just about Rozman at Sky/Ineos -
There is, or was, another person involved who had direct contact with Schmidt at Sky (Laptop "specialist" Dr Freeman, or a rider?)
I also sent him now two tests from him in the same laboratory, Dresden, which are correct. With temperature history and a correct working sensor. I marked all, so he can see different.
So this is not just about Rozman at Sky, and the potential one "bad apple" excuse aint gonna wash.

Sorry. The reported events took place in 2012. You try to interview people who were in the team at the time, or otherwise, you are plain stupid. I'll also add Arensmann is trying to celebrate what will be the pinnacle of his career winning a stage at the TDF and is asked an inane question by two journalist.

Finally, SLOADO is irrelevant to our current discussion.

wau, i ll be banned again if i tell what i think about post like this, dont you think you should explain to others that slovenia is 200x80km big ? you think thats important context here...how far from Rogla city ?
eh why do I even bother
calm down
everyone knows the country is not that big
eventoughs 16km is a walk in the park
and not to ignore (the devil is in the details)

all roads lead to slovenia (stanje korupcije)

only people with a blind spot as big as their country can't handle this truth.
