Well the fastest sprinter was out sick (Bos withdrew). Matthews went in the attack, and we all know Freire and Brown are too slow to win an actual mass sprint with real sprinters
Your starting to sound like a broken record with this Freire bull****. It's not Mark Cavendish who beat him here. Freire won a mass sprint quite recently, if you remember. In Paris-Tours.

Yup, if you know u23 racing. He is a real sprinter.
Besides he was 4th in the final Oman sprint.

anyway certainly faster than brown or freire any day

No offense but count me surprised when a 21 year old neo-pro I'd never heard of beats a 3x World Champ and 2x MSR winner.

Which is again, not the same, because Paris Tours is a hard sprinters race, so a lot of sprinters lose a lot of their kick already...certainly after +200km with 3 short hills in the final 15km

Broken record as I must soudn to you, you keep getting the wrong examples.

Matteo Peluchi is a "real sprinter" in your book?

yes he is. arguably biggrest sprinting talent in u23. another fantastic acquisition by Geox that certainly know talent unlike many other teams.

Wow you really don't know much about cycling if you think Ligthart isn't fast. I doubt Freire is even close to Ligthart's time on a 200m track for instance.

The guy was made on the track and recently switched to road, a real fast man

More guys who are faster than Freire:

Clasificación:
1. Matteo Pelucchi (Geox-TMC)
2. José Joaquín Rojas (Movistar)
3. Pim Lightart (Vacansoleil)
4. Christophe Laborie (Saur Sojasun)
5. Bartlomiej Matysiak (CCC)
6. Aitor Galdos (Caja Rural)
7. Diego Milan (Caja Rural)
8. Robert Forster (UnitedHealthcare)
9. Michael Golas (Vacansoleil)
10. Juan José Lobato (Andalucía-Caja Granada)

Actually I'm thinking of moving to the Netherlands and getting Dutch citizenship, that would do wonders to my speed.

Yeah, Mouris is fast. So is Stroetinga. Both of them aren't likely to beat Freire in a regular road sprint.

edit: I meant Ligthart instead of Mouris. Those trackies, they're all the same.
