Gaviria's early celebrations are quite arrogant and it is just a matter of a time before he gets to join the premature ejaculation club.

Early? Gaviria had aalready passed the line when Viviani hit it.

From what I have seen, Gaviria was already sitting up and celebrating while costing to the line at 25m. I think Viviani got confused as he also stopped pedaling.

Gaviria is just incredible. I think kittel is ruining his chances of winning stages in gt's (last year kittel did giro and tour)

Don't we all just hate them?

There is a difference celebrating early when you have a big gap vs when another rider is right on your wheel. Hey, I like Gaviria and all I'm saying is that one day he will get skunked.

Viviani wasn't going anywhere so had to get back in Gaviria's slipstream. You're saying he has a history of early celebrations? Haven't seen it, but he usually wins most sprints he challenges, often handily.

If he can win every race and celebrate coasting to the line from 100m out, its totally fine with me. Today I just thought it was too early but from those grainy cameras I cant really tell.

Hey, the more he wins, the better for my CQ team :)

Finally, at last, they've made the profiles for the nationals in Bogotá next month. The elites will do 15 laps of the circuit, making it around 240 kilometers in total. The second pic is the time trial.
Any idea who is expected to line up? I'd love to see that jersey in Europe.

The TT is on the same circuit as the RR?

If 15 laps are 240km, the circuit should be 16km, so I take it that the first picture is wrong.

Yes, that's the time trial course posted two times.

Here comes the road race.

No "real" climbs, but up and down all the time. This will be a difficult one for sure. It reminds me of a high altitude version of Krylatskoye or Melilla 97 spanish nationals. Great course.

As of today, Chaves is the only confirmed big ticket. Obviously, since he is the host this year. These past few years, the nationals have been some sort of ode to certain riders. Two years ago we had Uran in Antioquia when Chalapud won, last year was Nairo's turn in Boyaca when Avila won, and this year it's Chaves' in Bogota.

Nairo and Gaviria (obviously) have already confirmed that they won't come over, and we've yet to hear from Henao and Uran. Other than that, we should be good. The fact that it's far surpasses the 200 kilometer barrier should narrow the chance of yet another Roldan claiming the title.
