who is luis alvarez. never heard of him, although I know about any mexican cyclist

He's pretty young. Born in 1987. He's had some pretty decent top 5's and top 10's in national races. I believe he was in the top 5 in nationals.

Help me out here Ryo. Today looked to be like a climbing stage. Number two on today's stage was Jose Ramon Aguirre. I always saw him as sort of a sprinter type/Matt Goss rider. Was it a relatively easy climbing stage, or can he climb as well?

aguirre can climb quite well. I'd say in top 5/10 of mexican climbers. he's very allround, but naturally a track/itt guy that developped

I wish Freddy Montaña had had more chance in Europe. When he raced a few events in 2009 with Boyacá es Para Vivirla he was competitive almost every time, being with key moves in Asturias, top 20 of the GP Paredes Rota dos Móveis and Vuelta a Madrid, podiuming the Subida a Urkiola and 2nd overall and a stage win in the Vuelta a León.

Any idea on where he'll be going next year? I haven't seen or read any transfer news regarding the Movistar guys, other than Carretero.
