I believe the same thing happened during the Vuelta al Mundo Maya last year where it was mainly Freddy Montana and the EPM-UNE boys who were fighting it out for the GC. The rest were minutes down.

gw have great tactics as usual. cely is a master tactician. his team is also by far the stronges6. yesterday they murdered the local teams on a smaller climb with entire team they attacked. the guatemalans were left empty handed.
