The Feuillu bros?
Wishful thinking because their teams are going down?

They are talented but if RS turns to be a "US team" with a predominance of anglosaxon riders, I am not sure it is a good match. That goes for the sponsor, LA, JB and the bros themselves. Do you really see the Feuillu working as train wagons for LA?

Will most likely be picked up by one of the current french team, they quite fit in the "let's attack and go on a break mentality".

It was mentioned last night that Lance had approached Brice Feillu to join his team, and he apparently said yes, but only if he could bring his brother with him. They shouldn't join a French team unless going nowhere is their thing.

I dunno if they'll go anywhere with Radio Shack to be honest. Thanks for mentioning the context, seems like a rumor though, but heh...

It's official - or has been for about 20 minutes...

I hoped it wouldn't be true but there's no denying it now.

and they already have a Facebook profile :D

They are apparently aiming for the TdF 2010 with Lance Armstrong.

Thanks for the update Rd, thats great news. Great for the public profile of cycling to have LA back in the peleton for another year.

Does anyone think one of the new team would be interested in Cadel?

Possibly Lance may need a waterboy, but the way Cadel was struggling to get on to the back of the bunch on the Roseland Lance may have to go dry!!!:D

Seriously though, the difficulty that Cadel will have is getting onto a team that can genuinely support a GC contender, there aren't that many and the ones there are may not need him as their number one rider.

Full name will actually be "Radio Shack Nike Livestrong Trek Masters Racing Team" It will wrap about 3 times around the kit.

Hmm even without Levi and a combined age of 81 LA and Klodi managed to kick a lot of young *** over the last three weeks:D Strike another blow for Greypower!

It's actually very funny. If you believe all the rumours, then every rider in the peloton is signing with either Radio Shack or Sky -- or both!

So Radioshack are going to sign Eddie Merckx as well?!

Hincapie is without contract after this year. Said he's not sure if he wants to ride another tour so he is available for Radio Shack.

Thing is he wants a classics win and if he races for Radio Shack he might not have much of a team around him for that.

At one time, Radio Shack operated as Tandy in several European countries, but has since withdrawn, I think.

I hear that Laurant Fignon is interested after his treatment is completed...He's even offered to use some of that newfangled aero stuff...:p

Wow Radio Shack? Couldn't Lance Armstrong get Nike to sponsor the team? :D

My guess is that Nike puts all its advertising dollars where there are big sales - golf, basketball, soccer, etc - they sell millions of shoes to these sports every year for example.

Lance spoke about this last week. He said that Nike "wasn't a great fit" for overall sponsor

Whatever you say about him, he does know the business inside out and can attract sponsors better than anyone else
