FYI, I'm coming out of retirement to join Lance.

Maybe I should too, I'm about the same age as most of the guys on that team anyway. And I retired 10 years ago.

Kloden seems to be saying "Are you kidding? Dude, pacing your slow ar$e up Verbier cost me a podium position. No thanks. Get Che Chu to help you. He's still looking for work."

CHECHU ON THE TOUR

"I must admit that I am a bit jealous, in a healthy way. I would like to be there with the team, experiencing a historical moment in the cycling world. Contador and Armstrong together!"
See that's the thing about translation I am sure he said "histerical" and it comes out wrong.

I think the old "Discovery Boys" which followed Bruynel to Astana, maybe follow him to Radio Shack Again.

Leipheimer
Paulinho
Brajkovic
Popovych

also
Horner and the other "Armstrong friends"

If I could immagine right, Leipheimer and Contador had a Contract with JB not with Discovery when they went to Astana. Couldn't it be, that some Astana riders have signed contracts with JB too, and not with the Astana Team. I think about Popo, Horner, Brajkovic, Levi, Zubeldia, Paulinho....... so the only one who had a contract with Astana st maybe Klöden, but didn't he signed a new contract before this season (and then perhaps with JB). I don't think than anyone of the stars will ride for Astana next season, including Contador......

You mean American punk. Kloden never helped Contador save pacing him back after a mechanical on Stage 17.

Try again! :p

Andy Schleck to Radio Shack under negotiation. LA doesn't want Frank, feels it will impede Andy's progress. (L'Equipe)

Actually, Kloeden was upset with AC but for entirely different reason. The Spaniard's attack was that cost him the podium place :D

AS and Marca (in Spain) are reporting the same thing. LA trying to remove a competitor for next year?

This is exactly the kind of thing I had in the back of my mind when I started the 'Might Andy need to drop Frank' topic.

I would be seriously p!ssed off if this happened, though I can just about see LA's thinking why he thinks it would be good for him.

If that happens, then clearly it is a sign that Carnal Germ Snot knows that he cannot beat Contador, but he believes Schlecklet can. There is no way that the guy who came in 2nd in the Tour would ride on the bitch seat next year. Carnal Germ Snot wants to beat Contador so badly that, because he knows he cannot do it, he will hire someone who can so that he can experience vicariously what he knows is impossible for him to experience personally. Sick man that Carnal Germ Snot.

Provisional RadioShack Roster for 2010 (IMO):

Lance Armstrong (well that is a given)
Levi Leipheimer
Andreas Kloden (if he doesn't retire)
Chris Horner
Yaroslav Popovych
Jani Brajkovic
Steve Morabito
Gregory Rast
Michael Schar
Tomas Vaitkus
Brice Feillu
Romain Feillu
Simon Gerrans
Taylor Phinney

Not happy to see Simon Gerrans on that list - I respected him. Guess he had to go somewhere though after Cervelo cut him out of this year's tour.

Why would you not still respect him. There is nothing wrong with joining what will probably be the best team in cycling in a few years.

Andy's in quite a pickle isn't he? He's got all these people telling him he can do this.... do that. . . . keep your Bro . . dump your Bro .

Big decisions on such a young man's mind. . . . I know I wouldn't have been able to deal with it too well at just 24.

That is a really good point...but somehow I doubt that Andy would ever "dump" his brother. The power of family is too strong there.

Just like Brice Feillu told LA that he would ride for the shack only if his brother could come along.

Big words.
Still not sure this will survives Armstrong and what his intentions really are.
