KISS is nice principle to abide by

as for myself

which i know means squat in the grand scheme of things.....

mechanical over electronic / wireless any day of the week
or month

as we all know,
pros get paid to ride

what they're told to ride

yes,
a few exceptions to the rule
but not many

A good look at the upcoming FSA groupset as used by Argon-18 at the TdF.

It's a little way off yet in terms of refinement but there's a few cool things I noticed like standard coax cables and connectors at the derailleurs rather than proprietary ones and what looks like a single servo for each derailleur too. Nice to see a company keeping things simple.

Looks promising.

Not waterproof tho and cheapest to source. Doesn't really matter if the connectors are propietary, you aren't going to slap a Di2 der on there.

Hopefully it will be better stuff then their really crappy cranks/chainrings/BBs.

I was thinking of emergency servicing and replacement, not many component manufacturers do.

Got to agree on the quality of FSA cranks/BBs. My last bike came with K-Lights and an FSA BB30, less than 12 months and 3 BBs later I was using a Cannondale SiSL...

very comprehensive write up

thanks for posting 42

as for myself.........no thank you very much

me likes mechanical shifting
and all that comes with it

can we reconvene in 2017 and see who is still selling groupsets??
