sram is an acronym comprising the names of its founders, scott, ray, and sam
Thought it was scott, paul and sam..or scott, chris and sam..
Bardet in TdF, 19th stage, trying to 'shift' his front der by banging on it with his heel..brought to you by?
spam. what a surprise. Caught on TV too..bet the boys in Chicago are shiteing their breeches.
What happened to the days of teams rebadging other products....see it with tubs and wheelsets
I mean they could bought some campy stuff and stuck sram stickers on it.......
I am surprised that guys accept the frames they are given. So many guys had their own steel frames made to measure, why dont riders find the perfect frame for them and get them sprayed up in team colours?
Probably contractually they have to use the stuff, so no choice.......
Different conventions I suppose. Steel frames all looked the same anyway (ok, they didn't but it was a lot less obvious

) so no problem with getting one made and resprayed in team livery. I think compact geometry is also supposed to make single frames fit a wider range of riders, so frame sizing is less of a factor in fit (might be rubbish though?).
No chance you could badge up a groupset, they're much too different so I'm sure it's contractual. Imagine if AG2R were seen riding rebadge Dura-Ace, it could well cause the end for Sram groups on the road.
Tyres, people seem to think that certain tyres suit certain conditions so rebadging is less frowned on, it's also less noticeable to the casual fan. I'm guessing the vast majority of the watching public aren't going to be able to tell a rebadged FMB...
