Faster you descend, higher wind chill factor though

The riders will be very hot after the climb so the effects will be lower. If they go slowly their body temperatures will drop very fast and with the descent taking much longer it will be much worse for them.

So... the race has been neutralised on the descendt.
Danish commentators (from TV2) seem to think it's all the way to the bottom, but... why not give it free as soon as they're far enough down that the snow becomes rain?

Presumably a lot of them will stop at the top, change clothes, etc, knowing they can easily get back on
