movi appears to mean business. the pace not too high tho, probably trying to cook the others. but it's kinda a must for them to make time today...

just like nibali and basso did with the shoes in that commercial.

Everyone is piling the hate on Lefevere. Maybe correct that he is being a hypocrite here, but I've seen plenty of tweets from pro-cyclists echoing his words.

Thing is there are millions of people working in subzero temperatures with snow every day for weeks in winter. These guys, the ones that matter in this race, get payed in excess of 100k euro to ride up and down some mountains. Tough luck that it's a bit colder than normal today but that doesn't mean that cyclists are the toughest and least enviable people on the planet all of a sudden. Everyone has a bad day at the office once in a while.

Climbed it in august from both sides. It was beautiful sunny day... I really think giro should swap the date with vuelta.
I was thinking today that instead of Yorkshire, Colorado's and Dubai's stage races, I would love to see a stage race held in the Summer that would include all these highest climbs. Perhaps a bit like Trentino: no sprint stages, everything about the climbs.

Shut up you and your logic

If cyclists and DS's were any smart, they would know that this kind of stages bring in more viewers and publicity for their toughness and overall show so they bring more money to the sport.

with all the rain jackets and buffs I can hardly make out any rider. I only recognize Quintana, Aru and Kelderman well lol

Who cares about longest stage thread? Only Froome has taken down the forum for several days

let us not talk abt someone who deserves elsewhere in the forum.

and that outage was becoz of a single thread elsewhere. and that for two times.

i dont think this stage is going to bring down forum.

btw, anyone interested to set the record for this stage?

Agnoli has been nowhere near the superdom he was last year for Nibali.

Aside from Aru, the whole team is so much worse this year.
Their new trainer has come under a lot of fire

I will :p The same cyclists will be asking for support on the mountains without even thinking about the condition of the spectactors that are there, for hours on top of a mountain in the same ****ing cold to cheer them on.

Petulant little whiners, those twitter warriors :(
