Thing is there are millions of people working in subzero temperatures with snow every day for weeks in winter. These guys, the ones that matter in this race, get payed in excess of 100k euro to ride up and down some mountains. Tough luck that it's a bit colder than normal today but that doesn't mean that cyclists are the toughest and least enviable people on the planet all of a sudden. Everyone has a bad day at the office once in a while.

Landa has been strong, had a bad day on stage 15, but everywhere else he has been with Aru almost to the finishing line.

Agnoli was awesome last year because he was following Nibalis wheel while training together for months
Tira is getting old
And the rest is either injured or not really great climbers.

2010 Giro had a lot though because of all the Evans fans. Up until halfway through the Aprica stage.

You can't trust their timegaps even in good weather haha. Like on Montecampeoni when Arredondo attacked and his advantage kept fluctuating massively between 2s and 30s while the actual gap never changed.
