Repeated twice in a row...I dont at all
My post is an observation
At least someone is paying attention. Regardless of what you might read on here, no-one is winning from a group like this by accidentThe lack of fight is surely disappointing, but I fully appreciate Denz tactics here and found it nice to watch. First catching the front group on his own. Then probably noticing that riders like Hoole are not taking a turn, knowing that this was the right place and right time to attack as he had weaker riders right behind him (Conci and Maestri).
I don't think it's gonna be his last chance, but yeah kinda painful.Maestri heartbroken on the line, realising that he could have won a Giro stage today - and arguably for the last time in his career.
Wasn't it Denz who did the final mountain stage of the Vuelta all on his own with food poisoning last year and missed the time cut by like 2 minutes?I am really happy about Denz. As a big helper guy he rarely gets a chance to go for himself, and you can see in interviews he's such a nice guy. Super ride today.

Of course not by accident, but I expect DS, who are supposed to be the ones to think and anticipate possible scenarios. No blame on the riders, they are just racing, and racing with 3 weeks of fatigue and all day in the break. At least someone is paying attention.
