Savio sounds like an idiot - pretty obvious to everyone who knows anything about cycling that Rujano is actually suffering from severe limb-loss.

It's not like he has previous on quitting races...
Say what??

This would be his second chance with them and this is not the first DS that complains about him quitting on them. Maybe is health related but they are the ones close to him.

Oh yes he did. He tried to copy the crappy 2009-Tdf. Now he´s got his personal Baby-Tdf.

Zomengan tried different things every year. Sometimes he failed, sometimes he was the master. But none of his were as bad as this one (w/the same coward riders, BTW)
1. He's not the guy who designs the route.
2. 2008 and 2004 Giro were backended just like this one.

This is not a bad route.

We're not saying Basso, Purito or Hesjedal should attack right now. Not even Scarponi, although he should definitely use his teammates somewhere. Like to drop Basso's domestiques for example. But there's tons of people who are showing an absolute lack of ambition.

Besides, it's less than 30 km to the finish now. It's not like we're asking for epic attacks.

You could expect Pozzovivo to try something, but he sucks on descent so he'd just kill himself for nothing doing that. He'll wait for last climb, hopefully go early.

Purito doesn't have to attack, plus he doesn't have Moreno with him for protection, it's freakin' Losada that's riding with him, so he's not gonna try anything.

Everyone else from the top riders believe they're in good enough position to not need to try anything till last climb.

All the sub - top guys are probably just not strong enough, however I would expect Gadred or Nieve to try something.

OK. He is the scapegoat for the media to present this BS, like Prudhomme is for the TdF. Sorry guys, the best GT (better say the only one) won´t come before mid august.

Purito did a brave and quite stupid thing, trying to get away from a FULL peloton.
In case you miss it, that was a quite different stage.
If Basso wants to win the Giro, he has to make the race hard. If he continues like this, on the final climb he won't have enough space to break the others. He will maybe win by a few seconds. He needs minutes.

I think Leaky is doing their best to make it hard tbh...

The Vuelta will be a dull parade. Contador will be too much better than everyone else, so there'll be no suspense.

Attack by Kreuziger.

Probably referring more to Contador's return than anything. But yeah - 150km flat with a MTF at the end - Vuelta is by no means more fun that even this Giro
