probably referring more to contador's return than anything. But yeah - 150km flat with a mtf at the end - vuelta is by no means more fun that even this giro

Did I read right? People hyping the Vuelta to be better than the Giro this year? On that parcours?

Jesus wept.

What aren't lampre helping Liquigas? surely it's in scarponi's best interest to push the pace as well.

Quite pathetic that the pace is low enough for these riders to attack so easily and pull out so much time so quickly on the peloton.
Kreuziger evidently doesnt have much hope for this stage.
Oh wait..............

It is. They get worse every year (except Giro until 2011). If Fignon would see this...he´d be turning in his grave
Ok this is some serious trolling.

JV is obviously pleased with how the stage is progressing:

Jonathan Vaughters ‏@Vaughters
Liquigas has been very impressive. I consider Roberto Amadio, their general manager, a very good friend. I just hope they aren't too strong!

The Vuelta will be a dull parade. Contador will be too much better than everyone else, so there'll be no suspense.

Attack by Kreuziger.

Can´t be more dull than this. Last year he won the giro by 6 mins. And it was still exiting. Especially this 7 hr stage. I tought i am back to the greaties (80s). :)

Everyone is criticizing Liquigas but what about Kutusha and Lampre? They need time too. they're not pushing the pace. Liquigas' problem is that they've been the only team which has been willing to do work in the mountains.
